Join CAMIBAart for seven nights and six full days, as we explore the arts and culture of Guatemala on a tour personally curated and led by CAMIBAart founders Troy Campa and Rene Ibarra.

Tour Dates: July 22nd - 29th, 2018

  • Sunday July 22nd is the travel/arrival day - the only official tour scheduled event this day is a welcome dinner.

  • July 23rd - 28th are tour days

  • Sunday July 29th is the travel/departure day - no official tour events are scheduled for this day.

 

Itinerary Includes:

  • Guatemala City: We'll spend two nights in this major bustling Latin American city  - one at the beginning of the tour and one at the end.  We'll have our welcome dinner here and will have scheduled visits with local artists.

  • Lake Atitlán, Santiago Atitlán, Panajachel, and more: We'll spend 3 nights on this beautiful lake often described as the "Lake Como of Latin America" - and you'll see why.  Everyday we'll take a boat out on the lake, getting out to explore the small towns around the lake including Santiago Atitlán and Panajachel.  Each has its own culture.

  • Antigua Guatemala: We'll spend two nights in this small town at the foothills of several volcanos and famous for its Spanish Colonial architecture. Each morning we'll walk through town, explore the architecture, art galleries, museums and visit several artist's studios.  Each afternoon and evening guests are welcome to continue exploring with us or to venture off on their own in the popular tourist destination.

 

Included in the cost are:

  • Transportation from the Airport in Guatemala city to the Hotel anytime on July 22nd (guest arriving on any day other than the 22nd are responsible for their own transportation from the airport to our location in Guatemala)

  • 7 night stay

  • Two meals including a Welcome dinner on the 22nd (all other meals are the guests responsibility)

  • Six days full of scheduled excursions (including entrance fees for those excursions)

  • Transportation between cities and to all scheduled excursions

  • Transportation from the Hotel to the Airport in Guatemala city for return flight anytime on July 29th (guest leaving any day other than the 29th are responsible for their own transportation)

 

Please note: All guests are responsible for securing their own transportation to and from Guatemala city.  We are happy to provide guidance on making your reservations - just ask.

Tour Costs:

  • Tour costs are $1,600.00 per person for double occupancy

  • Single occupancy costs add $600.00

This trip is limited to 16 guests and requires a minimum of 5 guests signed up by May 7th, 2018 to make.  We will maintain a waiting list once all spaces are filled.

A $500.00 deposit is required by May 7th, 2018 to reserve space. This deposit is non-refundable unless the tour does not make by May 7th, 2018.

Full payment is required by May 23rd, 2018.
