Join CAMIBAart for eleven nights and ten full days, as we explore the arts and culture of Peru on a tour personally curated and led by CAMIBAart founders Troy Campa and Rene Ibarra.

Wednesday July 10th is the travel/arrival day
July 11th - 20th are tour days
Sunday July 21st is the travel/departure day - no official tour events are scheduled for this day.
Itinerary Includes:
Lima: We'll spend four nights in this major bustling Latin American city - exploring the vibrant international art scene. We'll have our welcome dinner here.
Sacred Valley, Ollantaytambo, Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, and more: We'll drive through the Sacred Valley enjoying the natural beauty and quaint towns along the way. We’ll stop in Ollantaytambo and take a train to Aguas Calientes where we’ll spend 2 nights. Guests will have two choices for their Machu Picchu experience: (1) for the more active guests, a full day hike from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu and back or (2) for the more pleasure traveler, a more relaxed morning van ride to the entrance with a couple hour hike, then returning to Aguas Calientes for a relaxing afternoon.
Cuzco: We'll spend five nights in this ancient town, founded before not only the Spanish, but also before the Inca arrived. We'll walk through town, explore the architecture, art galleries, museums and visit several artist's studios. We will have our last night’s celebration dinner here
Included in the cost are:
Transportation from the Airport in Lima to the Hotel anytime on July 10th (guest arriving on any day other than the 10th are responsible for their own transportation from the airport to our location in Peru)
11 nights stay
Two meals including a Welcome dinner (all other meals are the guests responsibility)
Ten days full of scheduled excursions (including entrance fees for those excursions)
Transportation between cities and to all scheduled excursions
Transportation from the Hotel to the Airport in Lima for return flight on July 21st (guest leaving any day other than the 21st are responsible for their own transportation - please coordinate/consult with us before booking flights)
A few notes:
Transportation: All guests are responsible for securing their own transportation to and from Peru. Please also note, we arrive and depart from Lima - departure flights must be coordinated with our arrival schedule from Cuzco. We are happy to provide guidance on making your reservations - just ask.
Temperature: June & July are winter in Peru, so temperatures on this trip will range from highs in the 80s in Lima to lows in the 30s in Cuzco.
Altitude: The altitude in Cuzco is over 11,000 feet and will require some adjustment.
Physical exertion: Most of the trip does not require excessive physical exertion, however, those wanting to visit Machu Picchu must be prepared for a minimum of two 30 minute hikes at an altitude of about 8,000 feet.
Tour Costs:
Tour costs are $2,900.00 per person for double occupancy
Single occupancy costs add $1,000.00
